Never enough hours in the day to get everything done, and never enough sleep:) Anyways things are pretty much back to normal.
I have planned my Thanksgiving and Christmas trips... call me or email me Karen for details...
Anyways... gotta go got alot of stuff to do before I have to pick up the kids and 2:30.

Blessings through the Struggles....

These last two weeks have been aweful but awesome at the same time. You may wonder what I mean by this. If any of you read my last post you know of my struggle with the Purpose Driven ministries. God has really taught me a lot this week. A lot about His word and a lot about Himself. When I was given the information about the PDL from my church back home, I wanted to ignore it and just go on with life pretending that it didn't concern me. God had other plans:) When I found out that my church, my people that I love, were getting involved with it, I realized that I had a job to do. A command really!! In Jude verse 3 the Bible tells us to "Earnestly contend for the Faith!" God was telling me that I could not sit idly by. I did a lot of researching and praying and comparing with scripture. Then came the task of actually sharing the information with my church family. I felt like Moses when he was told to go to Pharaoh. I was nervous, I thought that they wouldn't listen, I thought that they would be mad. So many thoughts going through my head. I prayed alot and finally had the courage, and Mrs. Neal on my side( She wasn't even convinced yet, but she still encouraged me, and said that she thought God was using me and that He had a plan in all of this.) It reminded me of your last post, Karen, about how iron sharpens iron. She is one of the most encouraging people I know, and when I've been with here I feel as if my battery has been recharged:)
Anyways to make a long story even longer, my church agreed that the PDC was not the way they wanted to go. Praise God!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if they hadn't understood I am really thankful to God for allowing me to go through this. I learned so much about God and His word. I learned that His ways matter above all else. The most important thing I have gained through all this is a love for His word. It seems lately that I can't even put it down. I am learning new things every day and I am also reminded of the things I have been taught throughout my walk with Him.
So even though these last two weeks have been trying, I am thankful that God allowed me to go through it, and I give Him all the praise!!!!
